THE ARMENIAN INCIDENT.
OFFICIALLY DECLARED CLOSED. United Press Association. (Received 9.5 a.m.) Washington, July 5. it lias been decided not to protest against the loss of American l,ives in connection with the Armenian, and the incident has been declared closed. Officially the opinion is expressed that the belligerent or non-belliger-ent status of the Armenian does not count, since the submarine’s challenge was disobeyed.
