N.S.W. MEAT EXPORT TRADE.

The State meat export season has closed. Mutton exports increased by 401,667 carcases, and beef declined by 13,810 quarters.
COMMONWEALTH LOAN MOOTED (Received 10 a.m.) Melbourne, July 1. In the House, the Premier (Mr A. Fisher), in reply to a question whether the Government proposed to raise a local ten million four and a-nalf per cent, war loan, said the Government; wa s contemplating raising a loan for the Commonwealth purposes, including the war. He believed there was a. considerable amount of money available in Australia, and the opportunity would be given to the people to invest.

It is anticipated that the State's revenue at the end of the financial yeai- will show a deficit of over a million.
REGULATION OF FOOD SUPPLY.
(Received 1U a.m.) Sydney, July 1. With a view to augmenting the supply of meat, the Government has suspended the rabbit-poisoning regular tions within ten miles of the railway. The Government lias ordered a return to be made on the 3rd of all Hour supplies.
