The Political Labor Council refused to accept Mr Anstoy’s resignation, contending that if accepted it might lead other members of the Party to act similarly, thus seriously affecting the solidarity of the Party.
A BIG ESTATE.

The value of the South Australian estate of the late John Darling is £1,694,620, and his Victorian estate £121,369. A cheque for £44,325 has been paid as duty on the \ ictoriau portion alone.
