FURTHER PARTICULARS. {Unitho Pr van -U-moiATioM Sydney, Juno M. Tucker was released from prison a lew days ago, and he forced his way to the house in the early hours ot the morning. He appears to have used a (hatchet in killing his victims. He I kept his wife tied to a bedpost for (several hours, and then released her after killing Matheson. The mother 'and the boy spent twelve frightful hours without food, j There were frequent quarrels between the couple, terminating in Tucker striking Ids wife on the head with a hatchet. The blows were repeated iwith every groan till the woman was |dead, the boy burying his head under (the bedclothes in terorr at the sight. | Tucker, after shooting himself through the chest, went to his sister’s residence, and thence to the hospital. He is likely to recover.
