GERMAN LINE WAVERS. ENEMY COMPLAIN OF LOSSES. CINTTWn ASSOCIATION. (Received 8.50 a.in.) Amstertrain, June 14. Strong; Belgian attacks drove hack the German lino near Westende and north-eastward of Nieuport, the German losses being severe. Heavy drafts of the enemy arrived at Ghent and Bruges on Friday and Saturday. Seventeen thousand old troops who returned from the Yser in a worn out condition complain of the heavy losses. BELGIANS CROSS THE YSER ENEMY’S VIOLENT BOMBARDMENT. (Received 9.35 a.m.) Paris, June 14. / A communique states: The Belgians crosesd the Yser south of Dixmude and organised a new position. They also destroyed a German blockhouse near Dixmude chateau. We captured a German work east of Lorette, but lost a position in the ■trenches north c f Sonchez refinery owing to violent bombardment.
CAIN NORTH OF ARRAS. London, June 14 (4.40 p.m.) The High Commissioner reports: — The Belgians, throwing a battalion on the east bank of the Yser, organised, and ground was gained north of Arras by various infantry, and yesterday some, making u.s masters of the German work. While east of Lorette we lost under violent bombardment, part of the trenches were gained in the afternoon.
