They also destroyed a German blockhouse near Dixmude chateau. We captured a German work east of Lorette, but lost a position in the ■trenches north c f Sonchez refinery owing to violent bombardment.

London, June 14 (4.40 p.m.) The High Commissioner reports: — The Belgians, throwing a battalion on the east bank of the Yser, organised, and ground was gained north of Arras by various infantry, and yesterday some, making u.s masters of the German work. While east of Lorette we lost under violent bombardment, part of the trenches were gained in the afternoon.
