WOUNDED NEW ZEALANDERS. AVellington, June 14. The Minister for Defence informed a pressman this afternoon that some of the men wounded in the early stages of the Dardanelles fighting were rereturning to the Dominion bj a port which is now on the way to this country. The men were suffering from wounds of a character likely to incapacitate them from service for some time at least. Soldiers likely to bo ready to return to the front within a reasonable period had gone to the hospitals nearer the scene of the fighting. Hospital accommodation would be available for the returned wounded, added the Minister, but he assume 1 that most of them would prefer to go to their own homes. If they were sufficiently recovered to he able to do so, they would want to be with theii own relatives. / WOUNDED. Auckland Battalion.—Privates C. Alley, C. J. Coutts, R. Davidson, J. H. Dutton, AV.
