The mutton market remains firm owing to the short supply available for thq genial public. The butter market is steady and prices firm. Danish 146 sto 1495, New Zealaiiad 140 s to ; 1425, Australian i uU s to 138 s, and; up to 140 s, Siberian 130 s to 1325, Argentine *3os to 138 s, Irish creamery 138 s to 1445. Cheese.—During the week the tone of thecheeiie market has completely changed and the market has closed dull with less inquiry. Prices are declining: Canadian white 96s to 975, ip colored *slf,* to 965, New Zealand white 98s to 98s> and up to 995, colored 95s to 975, and up to 995. Wool.—Prices for medium ahd coars e crossbreds of all grades- are unchanged, but prices for merino and fine .crossbreds of all' grades have advanced. \ The wheat market, has declined further on account of the American and Canadian crop prospects and the Indian Government's pressure to sell. The demand is only from hand to mouth. Oats. —.The market is quiet with small busintess doing. -
