The shortage m Colonial-knitted socks is beginning to be felt. Already many linns are sold out of the regular lOd, Is and Is 3d lines. The Melbourne Ltd. notifies having considerable supplies at these prices still on hand, but as great uncertainty exists as to when stocks can be renewed, customers are being restricted to three pairs at a time.
