Memorable street scenes occurred today when the sth Reinforcements and the No. 2 Stationary- IjTospital made their first and only public appearance. The weather, which had been threatening, cleared for a reception, and thousands of people lined the streets, 'i he crowd at times were extremely enthusiastic, and cheered the troops again and again. Their splendid stature was favorably commented upon all along the line, and a finer body of men it would lie difficult to find anywhere. They were handed flowers and fruit as they went along.
