WEDDING BELLS.
WALL—LUDERS. (Contributed.) A very pretty wedding took place in All Saint’s Church, Midhirst, on Wednesday, when Arthur, youngest son of William Wall, England, was united i> l the holy bonds of matrimony to Christina Adeline, second daughter of Mr and Mrs H. Luders, of Midhirst, by the Rev. Howard. The bride was given away by her father, and looked charming in a white Japanese silk, trimmed with Maltese lace, wearing a beautiful embroidered veil and orange blossoms ,and carrying, a lovely bounuet of white roses, chrystbanemums, and, maiden hair ferns. The bridesmaids were Miss Ruby and Miss blorrio Luders, sisters of the bride, who wore radienta dresses, trimmed with silk insertion and overlace, and carried bouquets similar to the bride, and also wore gold brooches set with rubies, the gift of the bridegroom. Mr James Wall, brother of the bridegroom, was best man. The bridegroom’s present to tbe bride was a handsome mother-of-pearl, mounted in gold, with monogram. The presents were numerous and costly, including cheques. About two dozen guests sat down to breakfast, among whom were the Rev. Mr and Mrs Howard, Mr Smith (curate), Mrs Phillip, Mr and I Mrs Schmidt, and Mr and Mrs Wall. The happy couple left by the afternoon train to Wanganui, mid showers of rice and good wishes. The bride travelled in a brown tailor-made costume I with military trimmings, and brown plush hat with ostrich plumes.
