[FROM OUK OWN OOHEESI'ONDBNT.] I The ladies of the district have formed themselves into a Hockey Chili, to be called the Lowgarth Ladies' Hockey Club, to be affiliated with the Hockey j Association. It is hoped a sub-section will be formed of Mangatoki, Lowgai'tu and Matapu players. The following officers were elected: Patron,! 'Mr W. Gardiner; president, Mr Beat-! }tie; vice-presidents, Miss M. Kilbride land Mrs A. Buhner; secretary and treasurer, Miss Minnie Johnston; Icaptain, Miss Coates; committee. .Misses Callaghan and captain and secretary. A match was arranged with ' Mangatoki ladies on Saturday after- ; 'noon next. The uniform was navy 1 blue skirt, white blouse, with navy 1 blue collar. The subscription was tix- • 'ed at two shillings per member.
