CIFT STOCK AUCTION SALE. The Scotch Social and Gift Auction Sale to lie held in the Town Hall on Tuesday, '2oth July, in aid of the sick and wounded soldiers returning from the Front, promises to he a huge success, judging by the promises and gifts already made. The various sub-com-mittees have all details well in hand, and a further meeting will lie held on Monday, 14th inst., at 7.30 p.m., in the A. and P. rooms. Messrs C. Jackson and P. Dnnlop have been appointed a canvassing committee, and they report a' generous response by all who have been approached. Those desirous of contributing to this worthy cause should forward particulars of donations to the canvassing committee or the secretary, Mr John Petrie.
