New Zealand, nominal quotations, hinds Bd, fores tg'd. The supply of chilled falls short of the demand, hinds 9d. fores 7jd. Butter.—The market is quiet at a decline, and during the week prices for colonial declined 2s to 3s. Danish Ills to 148 s. Now Zealand 140 s to I*l2,exceptionally 1-1 Is. Australian 136 s to 1 -12 s. Siberian in good demand 130 sto 131 s. Argentine 134 s to Litis. Irish creamery-13Is to 1365. Cheese. —The market remains firm, hut there is loss demand. Canadian is in good demand in this season’s make. White and coloured 94s to 9Ss. i Now Zealand, firm, white and coloured 98s to 100 s. English eheddar of this season’s make 98s to 102. Dinted States in good demand at 92s to 90s. according to quality and size. Australian, none offering. Estimated Canadian and Lnited States cheese stocks at London, Liverpool, and Bristol on Ist dune wore 63,500 boxes, childly United States Hats, against 33,(KM) boxes -at same time last year. New Zealand and Australian cheese stocks at London and Bristol on Ist .Tune were 13.200 crates against 37.000 at the same time last year. Wheat.—The market is weak and' inactive on account of good American crop reports. ELTHAM AUCTION MART. We had a good attendance of the public at our sale on Saturday. The, entries were equal to previous sales, j but bidding was slow. Lines sold brought the following prices: Ihgs (stores) 10s to £1 4s. Poultry: Ducks Is 5(1 to Is 7d. geese 3s 6d to 3s 9d, fowls lod to Is 9d. Produce: Potatoes 12s 6d per hag, onions 6s per bag, pumpkins 5s Od per sack.
