STRATFORD WOOL, SKIN, HIDE

AND TALLOW SALE.

On Tuesday, the Ist June, we held our usual monthly sale of, above produce, when an assorted catalogue was offered to a large attendance of buyers. Wool of all descriptions was eagerly competed for, and crutchings reached almost a record price, one bale realising 12. id per pound. Sheepskins also showed an upward tendency, advancing id per lb. Hides sold better than at our last sale, but prices realised for tallow were considerably lower than those of former sales. We quote; Woo).—Fleece, in bales, 12-id; pieces in hags, 7d; black in bags, Bid; lambs in bags, IGJd; crutchings, 12id.
