(Received 10.15 a.in.) Adelaide, June 4. •The Commonwealth Labour Conference referred to the question ol placing the Nationalisation ot the sugar industry on their lighting platform. The committee report that resolutions were adopted in favour of fixing a niininnmi tax on unimproved I‘.mis of one shilling in the pound, and strictly enforcing preference to unionists. and of granting pensions to widows.
