Died of Disease. —Private Mann. Wounded,—Captain Hunt and 296 non-commissioned officers and men. A CHARMED LIFE, YOUNG AUSTRALIAN IN THE THICK OF IT. (Received 10.30 a.m.) Sydney, June 4. Ray Cook, a young Australian serving in the British Navy, writing to his parents ,gives details of thrilling adventures. He was aboard H.M.S. Araphiou when she sank. He participated in the Heligoland fight, and narrowly escaped when a gun crew was blown to pieces. He was aboard the H.M.S. Aboukir when she sank, hut was rescued and taken aboard H.M.S. Hogue, being blown into the water when she was torpedoed, but again he was rescued. He participated in the ugh; when the Blucher was sunk. /The only 'hurt l:e received all through was ;Lght damage. -
