Last week, at the annual meeting of the Terminating Building Society, it uas proposed that £'lso be donated to the hospital ship fund, but an amendment moved by Mr John Payne. M.l\. that the amount be reduced to '_\jd was carried by 75 votes to 64. To-
night the directors of the society considered the matter fully, and finally voted £450 to the hospital ship.
