IN EAST PRUSSIA. United Press Association. Petrograd, May 31. Official: Our troops are pursuing the Germans. At Shavli we captured nine guns and seven machine-guns. We compelled the enemy to evacuate the right bank of the San to the mouth at Lubaekzowka. We delivered a series of counter-attacks against the principal enemy forces clinging to Kalniko Naklo on both sides of the river Wiszuia, capturing in one day 3000 men. including sixty officers. We defeated the enemy beyond the Dneister. capturing 6000 men and seventeen machine-guns. We expelled the enemy from the right bank of the Svitza. ZEPPELIN RAID ON FINLAND. Stockholm, -May 31. Zeppelins dropped bombs on Helsingfors (the capital of Finland) and destroyed a,passenger steamer and some cotton sheds. (Helsingfors is 190 miles west by north of St. Petersburg, on the Gulf of Finland). ON A GERMAN DRIVE. MANY GUNS AND PRISONERS.

High Commissioner reports under ditto London, May 31, 3.15 p.m.:— In the Baltic region on Friday, near Sawdenil, the Eussians captured nine guns, seven machine guns, prisoners, and other trophies. Along the middle and lower Dubissa, the enemy's offensive has been renewed. The Russians, by falling back on Saturday beyond the river, stopped the enemy from crossing. In Galicia the battle continues. On Saturday the enemy evacuated the right bank of the San and crossed to the mouth of the river Luhaczwoka. Tho Russians counter-attacked successfully at Kanikow and Naklo, captaring three thousand prisoners, sixty officers, machine, guns, searchlights, and commissariat stores. Beyond the Dniester the Russians captured six hundred prisoners, seventy officers, and eight machine guns. The Russian offensive in the Dolina valley compelled the enemy to evacuate the right bank of the Svitza. RAINING PtIOdECTILES. 700,000 FALL IN FOU.I HOURS. ENEMY USE 1500 CUNS. (Received 9.40 a.m.) Petrograd, May 31. Official.—During the fighting between Gallitze and Dunjety the .enemy used 1500 guns before the as•l|u.lt, discharging 700,000 projectiles * in four hours, which-it is estimated would require 1000 waggons. On another position one of our commands received 10,000 bombs. The Germans have exhausted their supply at Cracow and other fortresses, and the infantry is now obviously lacking a supply of artillery.
