King Victor Emanuel has telegraphed to King George that the ancient (a-aditipnal friendship between the Italian and the English people was now strengthened by a bond of blood against a common enemy. He expresses ardent hopes for victory. The King replied cordially reciprocating the sentiments and expressing deep gratification at being so closely allied in a great and noble cause. He felt complete confidence in the success of their united efforts.
