BOMBS ON SO,UTH-08,-SEA. TWO women killed. CHI,LD INJURED. :: LITTLE DAMAGE. The High Commissioner reports from London, May 27 (12.10 p.m.:— Two Zeppelins raided Southend-on-Sea, Kssex, on Wednesday night. One lady was killed and several persons injured. There was little other damage. The Admiralty announce that late last night a Zeppelin dropped bombs on Southend-on-Sea, the casualties being two women killed and a child badly injured. Little - material damage was done. Aeroplanes and seaplanes chased the Zeppelin, which succeeded in escaping in an easterly direction.
