IACCIDENTS & FATALITIES. SUICIDE BY POISON. Peb I'kebb Association. Dunedin, May 25. nan named John Gieaorge Smyth j dor conditions pointing to suicide. Deceased, who was about II years of age, had been living apart from his wife time. About 3.45 p.m. he came downstairs in the house at which lie stayed and in his band was ;i bottle which contained poison. His landlady tried to stop him from drinking the contents, but failed, and she went for the police.
