NEWTON KING’S WEEKLY REPORT. On Monday, 17th inst, at my Uronui yards, 1 had a good yarding of sheep and cattle with a fair attendonee. BidIding for sheep was quiet, hut cattle were improved, there being a hotter tone in the cattle yards, practically everything being sold at the following prices;—2 tooth ewes 17s to 17s l()d, (3 tooth and 4 year empty owes 15s Bd, I‘.m. ewes 7s and 7s (id. wethers 18s Gd, small lambs 7s, springing heifers £5 to £5 12s Gd, very prime fat heifers £8 to £8 10s, good £6 to £6 10s, fat cows £7 to £8 14s, light framed cows £6 3s to £6 17s, forward bullocks £8 10s to £9 9s, small fat heifers £5 ]os. 8 month steers £3 Gs to £4 4s, 18 month heifers £2 3s to £3, store cows £2 to £3 10s, forward cows £4 to £4 10s, 2A year year steers £6 12s, woauer steers £1 15s to £1 17s, weaner Jersey heifers £1 4s.

At Rnhotn on Tuesday, I.Bth inst., I had a small entry, all of which I was aide to clear at the following rates:— Weaner heifers IGs to £1 3s, weaner steers £1 to £1 15s, fat cows £8 8s Gd, forward cows £4 9s to £4 15s, store cows £3 4s to £3 15s, dairy cows £7 ss, 2 year steers £4 Is, springing heifers £5.

At Omata, on Wednesday, 1 hold a donring sale on account of -Mr Arthur Mills. There was a good attcndanco of the public and all lots offered met with good competition. There were no dairy cows to offer, but an exceptionalaly well bred line of Jersey heifers bred by Mr Mills made £lO. Other prices were: —Yearling heifers £2 l()s to £2 15s, weaner heifers 2;}gns., store cows £.'! 10s to £(i, pedigree Berkshire pigs to figns.
