[fiiom nun own cohkespondknt.l On Friday bust a match was fired by the ladies for the trophy donated by Mr T. 0. Cirubh, of Stratford. Fight ladies shot off. the winner being Miss Worm, of Waiongona. Keen interest is being maintained in a shoot for the championship modal presented by Mr J. Stewart, Ihe highest scores so far have been J. Belcher 67, F. Prebble 66. 1 The committee report that tickets for the fancy dress ball to be held on the 21st (Friday next) are selling well, and it is anticipated that a failamount will be handed over to the Belgian Relief Fund. A vote will be taken as to the best fancy dress. The Cardiff section of the Stratford Home Defence Corps hold a very good parade on the 16th May, and another will he held on the 23rd at 1 p.m. It is hoped that any Stratford members who can will attend the mounted parade.
