Adjutant and Mrs Simpson, of the Salvation Army, arrived this morning from Auckland via New Plymouth. Mrs Simpson has been seriously ill in Auckland, but having sufficiently recovered to permit travelling, has come to further recoup her health at her mother’s (Mrs T. Young’s) home in Stratford. Adjutant and Mrs Simpson were formed officers of the Army here, and will ho known and remembered by many people in the district.
