THE WINTER SHOW.
Judging by the numerous applications for schedule's, the entries tor the Taranaki Winter Show, which opens 011 June 9th next, should far exceed those of any previous show held under the auspices of the Taranaki Agricultural Society. Applications for space are also numerous, so that the space 'committee will have a difficult time providing accommodation for the numerous applicants. The schedule is complete in every detail, and gives an opportunity to any one to make an exhibit of some description. The secretary will he pelased to post schedules to any address should application be made for same. Farmers who have nominated for the field acreage competitions are reminded that it will he necessary for them to make acceptance with the secretary, otherwise their crops will not he judged. The attention of intending exhibitors in field root classes i« drawn to classes No. 127, which reads: "Swedes (two roots), Garton's superlative. The word "Carlton" should he omitted from this as jtlie intention of the committee is to make an open clnss.
