The Mayor of Christc'h'urch is calling a public meeting for Monday nigh! to inaugurate an organisation havint for its object a total refusal to import or purchase German made goods. II is intended to carry the crusade through New Zealand, and to establisl branches of the organisation in even town, and also to secure the co-opera-tion of Australia. Dargaville, May 14. At a large and representative meeting held to-day it was unanimously decided: "That this meeting expres ses its horror and contempt of the de spieable crimes committed by Germans and that it expresses profound sympa thy with the relatives of victims 0 its nefarious acts." It. was also re solved to urge upon the Government t< intern all alien enemy subjects ant sympathisers.
