SUMARINES IN THE MEDITERRANEAN. Athens, May 14. German submarines have appeared hi the Mediterranean. The British Legation offers £SOO to anyone giving information of them. GERMAN SUBMARINE RAMMED. (Received 8.45 a.m.) London, May 14. The steamer Collairnie sank a German submarine on the Northumberland coast. The engineers felt the shock and oil rose to the surface. BIGGEST WEEKLY LOSS. The Premier lias received the following from the High Commissioner:— London, May 14 (3.15 p.m.) | The Admiralty has announced the ,loss last week of six merchant ships of a gross tonnage of 37,564 out of 14:27 sailings. This is the biggest .weekly tonnayw loss during Lh« war.
