HAVw’ERA races. The Egmont Haciug Club’s winter meeting was concluded in beautiful weather. The public had a royal innings, no fewer than live favorites winning on end. Maniaroa paid the best dividend of the day, scoring a win iu the Manaia Handicap. The totalisator receipts for the day amounted to £17,353 10s, making £33,244 10, 5 for the meeting, an increase of £2403 10s over the corresponding meeting last year.
