LOYAL JOHANNESBURG, ANTI-GERMAN DEMONSTRATIONS Cnitbd PftE!B» Association (Received 9.15 a.m.) Johannesburg, May 12. Enemy aliens have been requested not to e'nter the Stock Exchange. The Mayor summoned a citizens meeting to protest against the brutalities committed. The German flag was trampled in the street and another burned in front of the Town Hall. The public are urged to boycott the Germans. The Rand Club is draped in mourning. The strike at Biakpan does not affect the power stations. It occurred among Mr Stuart's workmen. Mr Stuart is a building contractor missing from the Lusitania. The municipality at Pretoria has recorded its detestation and horror at Germany's crime.
