K.M. THEATRE. That celebrated writer of immortal stories, Charles Dickens, will bo well represented in one of Ids masterpieces, “The Chimes,” to-night. It is a production of Hie big Hopwovth Co.* ol Loudon, wlio have selected the very host of players for this huge production. “The Big War Graphic” includes clearing war’s wreckage—recruiting hy motor—departure from Bombay of the Indian expeditionary force—the kilties in training, etc. Other subjects are: “The Alan in the Dark,” “Docs it end Right.” and “Villcmmr.” The comedies are “Wanted an Lye,” and “The Detective and the Matchmaker.” Air Will Diamond sings “Our Brave Xcw Zealand Boys.”

“WHO’S THE LADY?” “The idol of Paris,” as created by M, Heniquin and A erber, Gohette soon after her conquering lirst appearance in “Who’s the Lady ?” became the heroine of every adventure with which a pretty woman was associated. Gohette was us familiar to the gamins of Paris as to the habitues of the Bois. On Tuesday, May 18th, Beaumont Smith and Leslie Hoskins will, in presenting “Who’s the Lady. - ”’ at the Town Hall, Stratford, not only introduce Gohette, but in person reintroduce Aliss Ethel Dane, and with hoi all tile popular members ol “the Glad Kyo” Company. The accurate drawing to typo of their characters in “Who’s the Lady?” hy the gifted authors made for instantaneous success in Paris, and within a few weeks London, too, was chuckling with delight and rivalling the gay city as to which would eventually claim the honours of the longest run. Beaumont Smith and Leslie Hoskins held back “Who’s the LadvP” during the recent tour of the company in order that they might feature the comedy for a special tour, which commenced auspiciously in W ellington with an exceptionally successful season. The box -plan for the Company’s visit to Stratford, opens at Grubb’s on Saturday next.
