The railway working account for the period ended March 31st, as gazetted to-night, shows the following figures (shillings and pence omitted):— Revenue—North Island: .March, 1915, £205,444, March, 1914, £215,042; South Island: March, 1915, £176,719 March, 1914, £108,677; totals: March, 1915, £382,164, March, 1914, £383,710. Expenditure.—North Island: March) 1915, £139.490, March; 1914, £141,424; South Island: March, 1915, £114,473, March', 1914, £106,560; totals: March, 1015, £253,963, March/ 191-1, £247,985. The total percentage of revenue expended was 71.14, as against 71.24 a year ago. EXPORT OF PRODUCE.
