Mr Tom Lynch, the well-known All Black footballer, leaves Timaru on Friday to go into camp at Tremham. Rev. Or. Clifford has resigned the pastorate of the Westbourne Park Baptist Chapel, states a Loudon cablegram. Obituary: .lames Livingston, aged 74, one of the oldest settlers in Taranaki, who played an important part at Te Xgutu and Te Ma'nu flight.— P.A. Mr. J. B. Hine, M.P., who is in camp with the 2nd Queen Alexandra Mounted Rifles at Waverley, will usit Stratford to-morrow having obtained special leave to enable bun to attend to matters concerning his electorate.
