MARKED INCREASE IN DUNEDIN RECRUITING. Per Press Association. Dunedin, May 0. There is a marked increase in the number of recruits coming forward here for the new unit and 7th reinforcements, 07 men presenting themselves at the last -bi-weekly examination, which is a record for the Dunedin group. Should the country districts do as well, the position should be very satisfactory. The fact of the New Zealanders having been in action appeals to have had a stimulating effect.
