ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.
A STOCK AGENT KILLED. The News reports a fatal motor accident on Saturday, the victim being Mr William McCormick, a stock agent in the, employ of Mr Newton King, and a son of Mr Patrick McCormick, of Hurford Road. Mr McCormick was riding into New , Plymouth on his motor bicycle about 7 p.m., and when in Retone Gully, near Tataraimaka, he collided with a trap. He was struck by one the shafts and .received injuries from which he died in a few minutes, fhe trap, in which (were Messrs A. C. McDonald and S. iCameron, was proceeding in the opposite direction to the cyclist. Mr McCormick died before medical assistance could be obtained, and the police removed the body to the morgue at Now Plymouth.
