GERMAN ADVERTISING CAMPAIGN. Dkitkd Pkf«b Association. (Received 8.10 a.m.) Washington, May 2. A German advertising compaign has been started throughout the American press warning passengers of the risk of crossing the Atlantic owing to submarines. The State Department refuses to suppress the advertisements, no precedent existing for such a step.
