F. hitler, Nasehy ; Walter Latham, Lauriston hy Ashhurton ; Wm. Montgomery, Hanks, Kirkcudbright, Scotland: S. H. Taylor, Eilielton hy,Ashhurton and dames Williamson, Bentaskin, .North i'aieri. Applications for prefixes were considered and granted as folows: “Hitcairns” applied for hy John Boag.j pm., “Piteairns,” Brookside, Canter-j hnry. The prefix “Dunure” ap])lied for hy a memhor was not granted. Notification of awards of affiliation medals were intimated from Kelso A. and H. Association, won hy Mr dames A denkins; Fgmont A. and H. Association, won hy Mr .M. d. (food son ; Southland Metropolitan A. and H. Association, Invercargill .medal for host colt,won hy Air .Robert Kennedy, Drummond, and for best filly, won hy Mi' Mr Walter Blakie, Ryal Bush: Tapauui Farmers’ Club, bronze medal won hy Mr das. A. denkins; Feilding Industrial A. and H. Association, Feilding, -silver medal, won hy Mr Peter MeXailghton, Hatea ; Wyndham A. and P. Association, won hy Mr Johnstone Wyllie, Kdendale. The secretary intimated that a number of awards had not yet been made known, but on receipt of these, the order for tire medals would he sent home. The next meeting of the Council will he held in Feilding.-
