TRANSFER OF GERMAN TROOPS. PLUGGING DANGEROUS HOLES IN THE CARPATHIANS. United Pbksb Association. (Received 8.30 a.m.) Pctrograd, April 26. The transfer of German troops to the Cracow region and the Carpathians is duly assuming larger proportions. These include Bavarian and Landstrum formations of newly-train-ed Germans, denuding the Narew region of all the units that can be spared, with which the enemy is plugging the dangerous holes in the Carpathians, and : replacing them with heavy artillery.
