NEW ZEALAND'S QUOTA OVER 15,000. Pek Fbebp Association. Wellintgon, April 27. The Defence Minister (Hon. J. Allen) has received a communication from the Secretary of State for the Colonies releasing him from the obligation to observe secrecy regarding the number of troops New Zealand sent abroad to fight, and the number in training. The Minister states that New Zealand has already dispatched 15,000 men, not including the Samoan forces, some of which have returned to the Dominion.

Cable advice was received here today that Corporal Maurice Buriinson, of the Canadian force, whose home is in Auckland, and who was reported by the Press Association cables to have been killed, is not dead, but has been scut ti) England seriously wounded.
