BRITISH ADVANCE IN GERMAN SOUTH-WEST. United Pbkrb Arkoojaho*. Capetown, April 26. General Smuts has occupied the Au.s railway, and communication from Aus with Garuh and Duderitzbught has been restored. This is of immense importance to the Southern Union forces in removing their food transport difficulties, the Germans having completely destroyed the line between Garuh and Aus, and wrecked the bridges.
