The Archbishop of Canterbury, in a statement relative to tin> Kikuyu case, says that, though the Church ol England maintains and emprasises her episcopal system, she does not necessarily place outside the church every ’other system and hndy of men. The archhislio]) sees no reason to restrict a Bishop in a mission held inviting ministers of other churches to address Ids people, provided the Diocesan Bishop’s authority is maintained. He makes a similar statement as to the administration of the Communion to devout Christians, who are not Anglicans and are temporarily without access to the ministrations of their own churches.
