WAGGONER KILLED AT OM AT A. Au accident occurred on the Alain South Road, near Omata, yesterday afternoon (states the News), as the result of which a waffionor, iiauied Herbert J. Holliuton, lost his life. Deceased was driving a waggon drawn by six horses and loaded with general merchandise for the coast, and the wheels of the waggon passed over him. Deceased is said to have been a resident of the Nelson district. He leaves a widow and a family of live young children, the eldest of whom is seven years of age.
