(Gotland is the largest ol the Swedish islands in the Baltic, about GO miles from the Swedish coast. Area 1 “_>()() square miles). ON THE DRESDEN’S TRACK. London, April 21. After escaping from the Ealklands fight, the Dresden coaled at Sandy Point, in the Mageilans. and then hid in Southern Chili until March Bth. The Kent, Glasgow, Bristol, Carnarvon, Grama, and Otranto were searching. The Dresden reached Juan Fernandez on March 9th short of coal, and was tracked down while awaiting German colliers. CAME OF HIDE-AND-SEEK. H.M.S. GLASGOW’S CAPTAIN PAYS THE DAMAGE, Times and Sydney Sun Service. (Received 8 a.m.) London, April 21. Santiago reports that the Dresden twice violated neutrality by coaling at Chili. She played hide-and-seek with her pursuers for three months in the maze of islands' near Chili. The commander of the Glasgow has generously paid for the damage done by shells to the huts on the shore, and also to a Chilian schooner.
