There is lovely weather and a largo attendance at the Manawatu Racing Club’s autumn meeting Ilendts.— Karere Hurdles, lij miles. —Sir Donald, 11.13, 1; Killaloo 9.0, 2; The Diver, 9.0, 3. Scratched: Dirkin'. Won easily by lour lengths, with three lengths between second and third. Time, 3.13 2-5.
Maiden. —Depredation 1, Snub 2, Welcome Nugget 3. Also ran : Danger Signal, Squadron, Pohui, Hiuenmana, Trials. Won by two and a-hall lengths, with four lengths between second and third. Time, 1.29. Autumn Handicap, one mile and a furlong.—Birkline, Ci. 13, 1; Bertrada, 7.9, 2; Ratana, 6.10, 3. Scratched: Red Book, Snapdragon and Zetes. A great race, heads separating the placed horses. Time, 1.01. Sires Produce—Desert Gold 1, Nones 2, Flying Start 3. Also started; Adjutant, Astellas, Eligible and Bonny Dream. Won all the way.
