There were entries from all parts ol' the Island. Results: W. Kummer (.Masterton), W. McXally (Pukckohe), and B. Chamberlain each, £25; A. Wrigley £l2 10s; I). Fraser (Napier), B. Burgess (llangitane), L. E. .Meads (ManIgerumu), L. Hughes (Auckland), W. Wilson (Pukekohe), E. Flux (Hutfc), H. Tatham (Masterton), divide £l2 LOs. The sweepstake resulted: H. Jcnson (Carterton) and W. Wilson (Pukekohe) C 7 10s each; A. (;. Uartlefct (Te Hon.), G. G. Potts (Wanganui), K. Flux (Hufct), and T. Medley (Ngaruawahia), £4. The colts' inatcli was won by A.
