FATALITY ON RAILWAY.
STEPPED OFF MOVING TRAIN. Peb PitEsis Association. Timaru, April 19. Chas.. Downey, a single mail aged 25, was killed at Sfudholme on Saturday evening. He stepped off a train before it stopped, and was dragged under, heing severly crushed on the head and one leg. He died half an hour later without recovering consiousness.
