A Jokio message says; “Popular, pressure, combined with the necessity ol new trading opportunities, compel the Government to go as tar ms possible with China without seriously arousing the susceptibilities ol the Powers interested. The future ot Japanese industry depends on China, wot only as an outlet for our production, but for our raw supplies.”
