H.M. THEATRE. Charles Chaplin, the Keystone comedian, had the audience in a merry mood last night, his famous kick and silly smile was very much in evidence in “His New Profession,” a star comedy play. The feature drama by Kalern “The Mystery of the Sleeping Death,” presents something new in plot and story ; it is a tale of reincarnation in a mysterious farm which as claimed never fails to greatly interest the onlooker. “Pathe’s War Gazette” depicts remarkable war-time events, including Lloyd George’s Own Regiment The Shell Damage at Nieuport —The Gurkhas’ Terrible Kukri Knife —The' Helgians still on their Own Soil—The Ruins of Dixmnde—The Czar’s Finest Troops on Parade. “The Price of a Lie,” a dramatic play with thrilling situations was well received. “In the Hands of Kindly Dutch” shows the marine heroes of Antwerp interned in Holland.
