WEST END WINS THE BANNER. The’ West End Club, the youngest of the New Plymouth bowling clubs, annexed the Taranaki Centre’s banner for the year, defeating Pihama and Hawera Clubs in the division finals on the Inglewood green. The banner was presented to the victors by the president of the lsu a-; naki Centre, Mr W. J. Penn, who heartily congratulated them on their win. Thanks wore tendered to the Inglewood club for the use ol the green, and the chib was complimented upon its condition. Messrs W. A. Parkinson (Hawera) and Conaglen (Pihama) also extended their congratulations.
