AMPLE, SUPPLY OF WHEAT‘IN I NkS.W. United Pkesb Association. (Received 8.25 a.m,) Sydney, April 25. The Minister for. Agriculture now says, the supply of seed wheat for fodder is ample. for the State’s de r tnahd. He anticipates a record wh&at acreage and a record crop, including 25,000 acres comprised of Government Experimental farms.. WHEAT AND MEAT. (Received 10.5 a.m.) Sydney, April 16. Mr Hall, N.S.W. Attorney-General, states that the Xew Zealand and Tasmanian Governments have been asked to return the wheat .borrowed from Xew South Wales.. While the legality of the Wheat Act was .being considered, the farmers held back their grain, but a spurt has now taken place in the arrival of wheat at the milling centres. He attributes, the slackness of some mills to the smallness of the harvest compared to previous years. It has been decided that, the current prices of meat for Imperial requirements shall prevail to .the , end of May.
ADELAIDE., WOOL SALES(Received 10.5 a.m.) Adelaide, April 16. At the wool sales there were twelve thousand bales- in the catalogue. Good super wools were firm, inferior classes declining. The best prices wore lid for merino and 13d for crossbred.
