The sun rises today at G. 29 a.m., sets 10.10 p.m.; to-morrow 10.27 a.m. and 10.15 p.m. EXPECTED ARRIVALS. Mapourika, from South, to-day. Rarawa, froth North, Friday. Corinna, from South, Friday. The Mapourika was due to leave Wellington yesterday for New Plymouth with about 150 tons of general cargo. The Kowhai arrived at, 7.50 yesterday morning from south with 270 tons of general cargo. She left in the afternoon for Westport and Greymouth.
